Enjoy Celebrity Radio’s White Christmas Dominion Theatre West End Review……..

Aled Jones and Tom Chambers Star in the West End premiere of Irving Berlin’s White Christmas which arrived at the Dominion Theatre November 8th for a limited 8 week run.

Handled badly this could be a terrible turkey – thankfully though this is a joyous Christmas Cracker!

Adapted from the much-loved film, White Christmas tells the story of two ex-army pals as they team up with a pair of sisters to put on a show to save their former General’s remote Vermont ski lodge that’s fallen on hard times.

The score includes “Blue Skies”, “Sisters”, “The Best Things Happen When You’re Dancing”, “Count Your Blessings” and the iconic title song.

This show has a stunning cast, an AMAZING live orchestra and theatrical feel of better times.

This 4* production has heart, laughs, a fabulous score, a tight script and excellent dance numbers throughout.

I first saw this production on Broadway in 2008 and it is a magical, feel good classic show to lift hearts and spirits this festive season.

Wendi Peters brought enormous heart to this uplifting show.

Her voice is massively impressive, controlled, powerful and hugely packed with personality as is her entire performance. Perfect casting.

Enjoy and Exclusive interview with this Coronation Street legend and West End leading lady……

The 30-strong cast at the Dominion features Wendi Peters as Martha, Graham Cole as General Waverley, Rachel Stanley as Betty Haynes and Louise Bowden as Judy Haynes.

Jones is ‘Mr. Christmas’ and leads this terrific cast of hugely talented and energetic performers. He gives his all and his rapport with the audience was achieved immediate.

Aled’s voice was remarkably vibrant and had terrific depth hitting the back of this huge theatre effortlessly. His acting was impressive, his charisma was obvious to all and his dancing was similar to Strictly Come Dancing – what he lacks in natural rhythm he makes up for in energy and passion!

Tom Chambers, who returns to the West End for the first time since Top Hat, is without question the leading man in this production. It goes without saying that his dancing is exceptional. He steals the show with his remarkable performance and chemistry to the cast.

Enjoy an Exclusive chat with Tom and Alex recorded November 2014:

This show offers big Broadway numbers with a classic script and story. It’s not competing with the huge productions and mega-hit show-stoppers, however, I can’t think of a better show for Christmas shoppers to enjoy after finishing their day hitting the credit cards on Oxford Street.

The surprise at the end will fill the kids with joy and makes the ladies rush to the hair dressers! V cute & the perfect ending to a White Christmas.
