I was lucky enough to get a Junior Suite which, room 101 on two levels.
The living area with huge LCD TV, coffee machine, office desk, telephone, outside seating area & downstairs toilet offers the perfect escape from the bedroom.
The most wonderful thing about this property is the remarkable history.
Archaeological remains were found under the hotel, including part of the city’s Arabic wall.
These ancient ruins, which also feature Roman remains, can be viewed from a walkway, and also through glass panels in the hotel floor.
This is a stunning, unique and hugely impressive first impression to this glorious property.
Vincci prove you can have perfect synergy between heritage and a 2014 modern hotel.
The hotel is on the edge of the old town, near the food market, and also not far from the cathedral and Picasso museum, as well as the train station.
Malaga is one of the most popular destinations for travellers, especially from the UK, in the Spanish Costa Del Sol.
With golden sand beaches, Michelin starred restaurant and top hotels – this is an authentic Spanish holiday destination.
Malaga is a vibrant and busy City by the sea with a major port and modern airport.
Most famously people fly into Malaga for destinations including Benidorm, Marbella and Fuengarolla. There are no British tourist with Union Jack shorts – always a bonus!
Upstairs in the Junior Suite is the stunning bathroom – one of the most decadent and luxurious I’ve experienced.
With an enormous tub, overhead shower (that even offers multi-coloured lights) with water-proof audio, it’s big enough to sleep in itself.
The bed is naturally huge and wonderfully comfortable as you would expect.
The rooms are naturally modern, fully air conditioned (separate units upstairs and down) and have a safe located in the wardrobe.
The breakfast at Vincci is one of the most extensive European style dining experiences I’ve encountered.
This is perfect for me with endless fresh fruit, gorgeous Spanish meats, pastries and European style hot breakfast.
There is fresh salmon, toast, cereals and frankly everything you could possibly need.
Top marks! Even the coffee was fresh, hot, full of flavour and leagues above a British hotel breakfast coffee.
Vincci also offer À la carte options including Croque Madame, omelettes and waffles.

My only slight was disappointment was the gorgeous rooftop pool on the fourth floor.
Despite being modern, clean and wonderfully authentic – sadly it only has 10 sunbeds as there is limited space – therefore get there early as it is first come first served.
There is however waitor service and towels throughout the day from 10am – 8pm.
There is a bar open until midnight.
The Wall Bar is very sophisticated, modern and reasonably priced:
