The Rua are a remarkable family pop rock band from Windsor. The band consists of sisters, Roseanna (Lead Vocals, guitar), Alanna (Piano, backing vocals) and brother, Jonathan Brown (violin, vocals, guitar).
I was thrilled to see them live on the WESTLIFE tour in June 2019. Their songs are inspiring, their musical blend is only to be admired and Roseanna’s lead vocals are powerful and simply stunning.
Their new album Gasoline is infinitely uplifting and their sound is joyous, authentic and thrilling to hear live. Their collective talent is obvious. They were born to perform and deserve every success.
At a time others are using autotune, track and effects – The RUA sing 100% live and deliver a faultless set of truly real, moving, genuine & feel-good self-penned hits. It was thrilling to see them live.
Their innate dedication to their craft is inspiring and completely credible. So, we thought we’d go to meet them and film a HDTV life story interview with the siblings…
