The Ivy Review 2015 Re-Opened Renovation New Bar Restaurant

Enjoy Celebrity Radio’s The Ivy Review 2015 Re-Opened Renovation New Bar…..

The Ivy has finally re-opened on West Street in London.

This glorious and phenomenally popular eatery has been renovated perfectly to a 5* standard.

In keeping with it’s previous glamour & decadence, this new room is arguably the most beautiful it has ever been.

Located in the heart of the West End, this Showbiz hang-out now has a central bar and seating around the room.

Despite being re-designed, the feel of the room, with the glorious windows is exactly the same.

The menu has been updated and changed but still has popular classics like the Shepherd’s Pie, Ivy Burger and Liver and Onions.

The Ivy restaurant and private room re-opened on Monday, 1 June, designed by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio.

“Non-negotiables” such as the harlequin stained glass windows, green leather banquettes, wood, mirrors, great art and kind lighting are all incorporated in a way reminiscent of the past but apt for the 21st century.

The brand new bar is a work of art!

With 360 seating around the bar, it has now been moved from the doorway to the centre of the restaurant.

This offers a new energy and 2015 elegance to The Ivy.

So decadent. So perfectly positioned. So classy….

The food is of exactly the same standard – unpretentious but fine dining.

Chef Gary Lee has created a balanced seasonal menu, still featuring Ivy classics, but accounting for today’s tastes, incorporating more Asian dishes, salads and vegetables, and the advent of a “sea and shells” section.

Director Fernando Peire continues to lead a strong and experienced team to deliver the same excellent service for which The Ivy has become well known over the years.

You are welcoming with warm bread, as before, and the silver service remains the most dignified in London.

The tables are as lovely as ever and your welcome will be as gracious as you would expect.

The loos at The Ivy are described as ‘Sumptuous’ – they are certainly the cleanest in London and worth a visit for the most divine pee in style!

London needs and deserves a restaurant like The Ivy.

Fashion and ‘pop’ comes and goes. Restaurants like The Ivy deserve to be around forever.

5* for The New Ivy.
