Despite her sister Dolly’s global Stardom, Stella has enjoyed constant success and forged an extraordinary career with a life story utterly compelling.

Stella grew up on the family farm in Sevier county, Tennessee, between the Smoky Mountains and the Little Pigeon River, as one of 12 children to parents Robert & Avie.

From age seven, Stella was entrusted with cooking, cleaning, childcare and laundry. During school holidays and at weekends.

Dolly was already a regular on local radio and TV but Stella had plans to also create a career in Show Business.

Stella is described as: Inspirational.  Motivational.  Entertaining.  Funny.  Captivating.

Stella devotes much of her time now to causes such as ‘New Opportunity School for Women’ at Berea College, Kentucky, using her knowledge of hair and makeup to help women build self-esteem.

As well as music, Stella has Starred on TV in ‘Dukes Of Hazzards’ and appeared on Broadway in such shows as ‘Seven Brides for Seven Brothers’.

Parton has served as national spokesperson for ‘Mothers Against Drunk Driving’ and the ‘Christian Appalachian Project’ and National Honorary Country Music Ambassador to the American Cancer Society.
