Enjoy Celebrity Radio’s Staying Cool 4*+ Apartments Rotunda Birmingham Review……
‘Staying Cool’ are the 4/5* serviced apartment brand in Birmingham.
Located in the iconic Rotunda, next to the Bull Ring – you cannot miss this building or these exceptional rooms.
Complete with lounge area, dining area, bedroom, bathroom and fully fitted kitchen – these mini apartments have it all!
What’s also great about this property is that despite being in the midst of the UK’s 2nd biggest City, these apartments are safe and secure 24 hours a day.
This review focuses on the ‘Mini’ on the 19th floor which offers remarkable views over Birmingham’s skyline….
It’s the little touches that make a hotel/apartment special. Staying cool have mastered this art.

Rooms include big bottles of shampoo, conditioner and hand wash – not those pitiful tubs that serve no purpose.
The kitchen offers fresh milk and fruit on arrival with fresh ground coffee ready to be brewed. There’s also Illy coffee machine for when you run out.
Tea drinkers mustn’t be offended, there’s a huge jar of tea and even peppermint tea with 5 packets of luxury hot chocolate available – what more could you ask for?
In the lounge area there’s a bose IPhone (4) dock & speakers as well as board games and books.
There’s Sky TV + freeview so this really can be a home from home for an extended stay.
In terms of location, if it were any more central it would inside the Bull Ring which is 1 minute away.
Parking is £9 per day in the Bull Ring car park. Once parked you are within walking distance of the Hippodrome, Mailbox / BBC, market & all of Brum’s many attractions.
Word of warning – If you’re following satnav DON’T go under the bridge next to the Rotunda – it’s busses only and you will photographed and fined!
The kitchen really is helpful and exceptional. With M&S just 5 minutes away, why eat out?
There’s a fridge, hob, oven, pans & microwave – you can literally make a 3 course meal if you want to and eat it overlooking the glorious view from this fabulous building.
At night the views are truly romantic.
There’s even olive oil and balsamic for your salads! A lovely touch for Breakfast is the two packets of ‘Doreset Cereals’ – classy, filling and delicious.
No worries about laundry, there’s a washer / dryer in-room for your convenience.
There is free Wifi (high speed as well) for all!
The bathroom is ‘mini’ however perfect for a short stay. There’s a wonderfully powerful shower.
Staying cool offer bath robes for your comfort although in 1906 there was not a bath.
There’s heated towel rails and generous amounts of hand wash, shampoo and conditioner so that you’ll never run out. Nice touch!
There is not a gym on-site. This is a commercial apartment block with private residents.
Overall I’m hugely impressed by Staying Cool. I can’t wait to return and try out their hugely popular 5* properties.
