Duncan Norvelle is a comedian in the variety tradition who was a major TV Star from the early 1980s.
He is probably most famous for his catch phrase “Chase me!”, leading to his often being referred to as Duncan “Chase me” Norvelle.
His ultra camp act has been entertaining audiences for over 30 years.
Norvelle has three children: Sophie (with ex-wife Trudi Dean), Yasmin (with former girlfriend Tina Hall) and Jack (with wife Jane Lindsay).
Duncan was hospitalised in April 2012 after suffering a stroke, leaving him paralysed down the left side of his body.
In 2015 he’s back on the road and did his first show in Skegness in August. He next appears in Melton Mowbray on November 8th. GET TICKETS HERE!

Norvelle has an In The Club DVD and also appears on the Ricky Tomlinson Laughter Show Live DVD. The latter includes a brief interview.
In 1984 he hosted an unscreened pilot dating show called “It’s a Hoot” for London Weekend Television. It was reported that John Birt @ had reservations about Norvelle’s camp style in a dating show; the series was eventually re-titled Blind Date and hosted by Cilla Black.
2008 saw him go out on tour as part of the Ricky Tomlinson Laughter Show.
Norvelle spent the 2009 pantomime season playing Buttons in Cinderella in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. In December 2011 he appeared on Celebrity Come Dine with Me with Sean Hughes, Gina Yashere and Paul Tonkinson.
In 2014, Norvelle starred in low-budget British gangster film ‘Ard Sods , portraying camp gang land boss ‘Bully Boy’ Spencer.

Ha Ha ! Dunky ! I have been married 3 times, twice to women! I remember the first gig I saw you in . It was 1943 and you were flying in wellingtons . Then you had to wear sandals co’s of your flat feet. I shall never forget seeing you live. I am what I am today because of you. (A lady boy ) I remember you asking me if I was a practicing homosexual, and I said ” No! I am bloody good at it ” ! Take care my old chum. You are a nice guy and very funny. If I can escape from this asylum, I will come and see you . When I was in the service, this nasty man with 3 stripes screamed something at me, and I was scared and said to him ” Chase me” ! And they did, all the way to Colchester ! Bye Dunky !
