Rolf Harris is a true TV legend who has worked with every major performer, Starred around the world, performed at the London Palladium, had number 1 hits and even was given the honour of drawing a portrait of Her Majesty The Queen.
Most famously Rolf presented ‘Animal Hospital’ for the BBC.
However, on 19th April 2013 Rolf was front page news for his arrest over historic sexual abuse allegations under operation Yew Tree. He’s the 12th celebrity to arrested since the Jimmy Savile scandal was exposed.
On August 29th 2013 Rolf was charged with 13 sexual charges. He was later found guilty and sent to prison over historic sexual offences brought by Operation Yewtree.

Harris received a number of awards and honours. Following his conviction, many of these were rescinded.
Harris was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in 1968; he was advanced to Officer (OBE) in 1977, then to Commander (CBE) in 2006.
In 1989 he was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM), and was advanced to Officer (AO) in the Queen’s 2012 Birthday Honours. In 2001 he was awarded the Centenary Medal “for service to entertainment, charity and the community”.
