Rhydian’s album, recorded with the Orchestra of St. John’s, Smith Square conducted by John Lubbock, speaks to the heart. It will force the listener to drop any misconceptions they may have of him recalling the former X Factor contestant and realise he is a world class singer who pours his emotion into his music.
“I take my music seriously. I would like to be respected as a hard worker and a great singer and somebody who leads a clean life.
“I haven’t reached my Everest yet. I’ve certainly got a better career than I ever imagined at music school, but now I’ve got other goals I would like to achieve. I’d like to perform on a bigger sell-out theatre tour; play arenas, and have a No 1 album.”
Rhydian achieved his No 1 in the Classical Charts on 20th April with his latest album ‘One Day Like This’.
