Siegel’s 1941 is located on the casino floor of the El Cortez Hotel & Casino Downtown Las Vegas.
This relaxed, warm and friendly eatery offers café style seating and cuisine plus you’ll get exceptional value for money!
This unpretentious room is open 24 hours a day with salads, soups, steaks and a wonderful selection of excellent sandwiches.
Benjamin (Bugsy) Seigal opened the Flamingo and is widely regarded as the father of Las Vegas. This restaurant is named in his honour.
Most impressive is the warm welcome from the gorgeous staff who clearly love the restaurant and property – that’s so rare in Vegas. This place has true soul, character & heart.
Seigel’s keeps alive the spirit of the mob & old Vegas in a loving tribute to some of Sin Cities biggest ‘characters’.
Even the burgers are all named after the towns most notorious mobsters.

So, to the food….
To begin the ‘Iceberg wedge’ was so fresh and refreshing. Delicious.
This was followed by the ‘little Italy chopped salad’ – another beautifully presented dish that I could eat every day.
The Eggplant Nepolian was just lovely and totally authentic. Ignore the calories and enjoy every mouthful – I did!
Next, the sandwiches at Siegel’s are all highly rated.
The ‘Sandwich Miami Cuban’ with ham, pulled pork, Swiss cheese and pickles was a personal favourite.
However, you HAVE to try the ‘Bugsy Siegel Burger’ with bacon, pickles, tomato marmalade & cheddar – what a delight.
Another deliciously decadent burger is the ‘Meyer Lansky’ with pastrami, swish, ciabatta & house made coleslaw.
The Prime Rib Steak is naturally lovely.
Served with broccoli & jacket potato, this is not only tender and packed with flavour but exceptional value for money.
Another dish I loved was the Salmon. Juicy, tasty and very healthy – rare in Las Vegas!
Finally you cannot miss the Chocolate Sundae at Seigals.
It’s old school and I love it!
I loved the feel of this restaurant. Siegel 1941 is humble, proud and unashamedly ‘Old Vegas’ Downtown.
By that I mean it has a cool elegance, soul and class that has been lost by corporate drones who forget about the individual.
This restaurant plays to its strengths and I love it for that! Bravo Chef.
