Residence Inn by Marriott in Naples is very nice tourist standard hotel.
Offering one or two bedroom suites, it has all of the amenities for a perfect family home to home stay.
This property doesn’t claim to be luxury and it is not, however, it’s impeccably clean, modern and the rooms are incredibly spacious.
The bathrooms are outdated, as is the kitchen, however, once again – they both serve their purpose.
The grounds are small but nice and the heart of Naples is just a 10 minute drive away (not walkable).

Despite having a slight feel of an airport hotel, it does offer free parking and wifi throughout.
The bathrooms were the biggest disappointment. Very old fashioned and I wouldn’t bathe in this overhead shower bath.
Also in my room, the air-con was thunderous! I’ve never heard a louder unit and who would put this in the bedroom????
The however is perfectly clean and serves it’s function with good value for the price.
You’re surrounded by restaurants and shops and this is a nice place to stay….although not ideal for the ocean, old town walks, restaurants, shops at 5th.
You’ll certainly need a car to stay at this property and enjoy Naples.
The Residence Inn has a pool, gym & even a tennis court.
The studio suites themselves are an impressive size.
Renovated in 2014, they’re very nicely decorated with nice furniture.
The revolving TV for the lounge & sleeping area is perfect (providing two people do not wish to watch different programmes)….
The kitchen offers everything you’ll need for a long stay.
With a fridge freezer, microwaves & all utensils – you could cook a full meal.
There is a washing machine available for laundry but it’s communal and on the second floor. $2 washing – $2 drying.
I personally wouldn’t stay here again but there is nothing ‘wrong’ with the property itself.
There is a free breakfast which is adequate offering hot and cold options to start the day.
There’s a gym and a small shop on property for your convenience.
