Review Queen A Rock & Symphonic Spectacular…

I was thrilled to see the glorious City Of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra tonight at the Nottingham Royal Concert Hall with four of the biggest stars in West End history.

This sensational orchestra and the glorious cast combine to create a magical, stand ovation inducing 2.5 hours of electric theatre!

Rock & Symphonic Spectacular showcases Freddie & the boys biggest hits from Queen. It’s all killer – absolutely no filler! You get all the hits back to back…

From the anthemic Seven Seas Of Rhye right through to the heart-breaking The Show Must Go On, you’ll be captivated by the songs of Freddie, Roger & Brian.

To see TRCH sold out tonight was a true thrill. The entire audience gave this cast one of the loudest standing ovations I’ve EVER seen during my 20 years of reviews at this venue.

With divine arrangements written by the Birmingham Symphonic conductor, you’ll hear these timeless & international hits brought back to life in 2018 in the most extraordinary, exhilarating, grand and profound way.

Sung by the stars of West End hit musical ‘We Will Rock You’, this tribute doesn’t insult the bands legancy with impersonation – it’s four world class singers offering their version of these timeless hits.

You’ll hear the stunning Jenna Lee James, fantastic Rachel Wooding, the irrespresible Alex Gaumond & the impossibly cool Peter Eldridge!

They’re all incredible. Collectively they raise the roof. What breath-taking talent. All different, but equally gifted.

If you get the opportunity to see this show, you’ll be blown away by the brilliance of these hits, the effortless talent of the cast as well as the glorious, epic and perfect sound of the enormous orchestra.

A magical combination. I loved every second of this show!

Queen: Rock & Symphonic Spectacular has been performed to acclaim in the UK and globally with leading orchestras including Sydney Symphony Orchestra; Atlanta Symphony Orchestra; Perth Symphony Orchestra; Colorado Symphony Orchestra; The Halle; and many more.

Later this year the show goes to France for 4 arena shows.

Most recently it was recorded as a special broadcast for BBC Radio 2’s Friday Night Is Music Night, recorded live at the London Coliseum.

Don’t miss your chance to hear songs including ‘Killer Queen’, ‘Somebody To Love’, ‘We Will Rock You’ and ‘Don’t Stop me Now’ like you’ve never heard them before!
