Enjoy Celebrity Radio’s Premier Inn Hotel Review….
It’s not surprising that Premier Inn is the UK’s #1 hotel chain with 50,000 rooms and 700 properties.
They have mastered the art of giving customers what they want – clean, uncluttered rooms, hearty breakfast, bars & restaurant all on site – with great value and no pretention.
Premier Inn have unique touches that arguably put them above the rest. Hilton will charge you £20 for internet – it’s free here!
Breakfast is less than £9, often double elsewhere.
Their hotels are friendly, warm & welcoming and offer a ‘good nights sleep’ guarantee or you money back – that’s brave!
My hotel was COMPLETELY sold out the night I visited. That’s impressive! So why do so many flock to Premier Inn?…..
On brand, they even have ‘Purple Sauce’ for breakfast + kids eat FREE! Lenny Henry can stand proud.

The rooms are spacious, clean and have everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay.
With tea, coffee, hairdryer, small TV, hand soap & free wifi – what more will you need?
I stayed at the Premier Inn Manchester Airport North in October 2015.
There are two Premier Inn’s literally next door to each other just 5 minutes from the terminal. Perfect location and the best way to relax prior to leaving MAN.
You can check-in ‘quick and easy’ the 3 machines as you walk in. Sadly they weren’t working during my visit.
There is a Costa Coffee on site offering a full selection of drinks, sandwiches and cakes.
As you would expect there’s a reasonably priced and fully stocked bar open until 11pm and a restaurant with a great selection of food.
The Thyme Restaurant offers hearty food and for just £23.99 you can have a 2 course evening meal + an alcoholic drink and buffet breakfast the following morning.
The food was exactly what I expected, well presented, plentiful and great value.
To begin I sampled the tempura shrimp followed by the mixed grill. Both were very nicely cooked and delivered quickly by incredibly friendly waitresses.
Premier Inn work on rates relative to occupancy, therefore, obviously the earlier you book the better the rate. Rooms average £50-£100.
I was given an accessible room which is naturally more spacious.
There is a walk-in shower or bath option for the disabled rooms:
Breakfast truly is an impressive affair and remarkable value for money.
There’s a continental or full English option.
You can choose from endless cereals, croissants, fruit, yoghurt and jams with coffee on tap from the Costa machine.
If you’re feeling like a treat you’ll love the hot selection.
As you would expect there’s bacon, sausage, eggs, tomato, mushrooms, fried toast and more.
You can also order 5 options direct from the chef including omelettes & poached eggs.
The Premier Inn knows its audience. There’s no room service, mini-bar, moisturising lotion or slippers – it plays to its strengths of simplicity.
They guarantee you a good nights sleep and deliver it, if not you don’t pay. You truly can’t say fairer than that.
If you book early you cannot go wrong with Premier Inn. The epitome of value for money.
