‘The Play That Goes Wrong’ is brought to you by the UK producers of ‘Fawlty Towers’ and ‘Noises Off’.
These boys are masters of word play, shtick, nonsense, fun, farce & clever staging.
TPTGW is a raucous, nonsense driven comedy rammed with a litany of belly laugh inducing titters throughout.
There’s never a dull moment! The silliness crescendos until the spectacular & catastrophic finale.
This play (within a play) features the biggest theatrical PR disaster, embarrassment, car-crash and calamity since Spiderman on Broadway! It’s quite special.
The-gags are delicious, perfectly timed and often quite cutting – parodying the entire genre. It’s only funny because we’ve all seen it played for real before.
From the scenery to lights, props, sound and even the actors – it’s a blissful theatrical disaster!

TPTGW is basically a laughable farce of epic proportions. It moves along at 100 MPH and is one of the most enjoyable 2 hours of fun I’ve had in a theatre in a long time.
As you would hope / expect – there’s plenty of door slamming, set disasters, line bloopers and theatre in jokes. The themes and gags are timeless.
The entire cast shine on Broadway, as they did in the West End. Their precision, timing and focus is quite remarkable.
Rob Falconer (Trevor), Dave Hearn (Max), Henry Lewis (Robert), Charlie Russell (Sandra), Jonathan Sayer (Dennis), Henry Shields (Chris), Greg Tannahill (Jonathan) and Nancy Zamit (Annie).
