Enjoy Celebrity Radio’s Review Paragon Restaurant Foxwoods….
When I found out I was visiting Foxwoods Resort I knew I’d be in for a culinary treat, but what I did not expect was one of the most memorable and enjoyable meals in many years.
Paragon @ Foxwoods is located in the high above Connecticut on the 24th floor of the Pequot Tower overlooking a sea of trees for miles around.
With seemingly infinite dining options at Foxwoods – this restaurant offers a decadent, indulgent and memorable menu.
This elegant, spacious and refined eatery offers fine dining reflected in its AAA Four Diamond Award of Excellence rating.
Paragon has earned that distinction for eleven straight years and counting.
With sensational service, divine cuisine and the wonderfully relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere – it’s not surprising this is THE place to eat at Foxwoods in 2015.
You cannot fail to be impressed by the grandeur of the bar at Paragon as you enter.
The light, grand, spacious atmosphere is so refreshing – especial considering it is within the resort and casino.
Chef offers a delicious menu of local, seasonal and daily specials as well as expertly crafted cocktails. The wine menu is also spectacular.
Live piano adds perfectly to the indulgent mood and sets the perfect atmosphere for your meal mixing classic tunes and new hits seamlessly throughout. So lovely and rare in 2015.
So to the food….

Well, Chefs Foie Gras was divine. I couldn’t possible resist.
This was the culinary highlight of my trip. Beautifully presented and served seared to perfection.
The Beef Tartare is not to everyone’s taste, but, for me this was a huge treat. The Quails egg was a lovely, rustic and authentic traditional touch on top that added more grace to this delicately flavoured dish.
Finally to begin, the ‘Sashimi on Salt’ was an unexpected treat. The Hawaiian Walu was very refreshing and a modern addition to this gorgeously familiar menu.
Next came the ultimate indulgence….

To the entree’s:
I had to try the Kobe Beef. This was truly one of the most gorgeous, tender, flavoursome cuts of meat I have ever been served.
Again, so simple and uncluttered with green beans – if only every meal could be this good.
We also sampled the pork Special with peppers which had a Chinese feel. Delicious flavours and texture and a lovely change to regular dishes.
Finally, DO NOT miss dessert at Paragon. Divine!
The presentation is remarkable and exciting. Such a fun way to end your meal.
When food looks this good I’m convinced it weighs less heavy on your expanding thighs.
The ‘Salted Caramel Egg’ was a joy. Such delicate beauty. Such enormous texture and flavour.
Next, the ‘Honey Greek Yoghurt Parfait’ came with great acclaim and lived up to expectation.
Finally – the ‘Chocolate Pot De Creme’ was my personal favourite. Such a fabulous looking and thrilling end to a joyous dinner.
This was a hugely memorable meal that feels like an event. It’s not food, it’s a life long memory.
With Live piano, excellent service, wonderful company & a terrific meal – this really is a 5* dining experience.
