The HUB by Premier Inn is the newest of their ‘value’ hotel chains brands.
This new ‘compact’ hotel is designed to offer a smart, stylish, great value stay in the best city centre locations. They’ve achieved their goal! We visited Edinburgh Central.
These rooms offer “All the comfort but half the size” – to be honest I couldn’t tell much difference. It’s certainly much more appealing to me than the average Premier Inn.
What I loved about HUB is that they’re impeccably clean, ultra modern and offer a 5* stay for the price. That’s not to say these are 5* rooms….but for the price.

The rooms are ultra modern with USB plugs, HD TV’s and free movies – you can’t really go wrong.
The bathrooms are incredibly small – but again, serve their purpose with modern rainfall showers.
You get as much hand gel and shampoo as you can use….it’s hardly Apotheke amenities but it does the job.
My favourite thing was the 100% blackout curtain. A stroke of genius for a perfect nights sleep.
You’ll also love that there’s more plugs than you can use all over the room – essential for the 2018 traveller.
The breakfast is a ludicrous £5 – how can you go wrong?
With coissants, toast, cereal, fruit and yoghurt – you can’t go wrong for the price.
Served from 7am – 11am, this really is designed for your convenience.
You get free coffee / tea 24/7 @ HUB.
As hotels go, you cannot fail with PREMIER INN HUB.
You have speedy self check-in (assistance on hand), warm and friendly staff and brand new / perfectly clean rooms.
Check-in 2pm – checkout midday.
You don’t get decadence but you do get remarkable value for money. Excellent job!
