Enjoy Celebrity Radio’s Review Frank Sinatra London Palladium 2015….
In his centenary year, the magic of Frank Sinatra has returned to the London Palladium, 65 years after he made his UK debut on the same stage in 1950.
Using rare footage of the legend himself, re-mastered vocals, a 24 piece orchestra and sensational live dancing ‘SINATRA: THE MAN & HIS MUSIC’ is a brand new multi-media concert celebrating my favourite entertainer.
I have to admit I adore Frank so this was never going to be a chore. I was excited to see how the Palladium could re-invent the wheel with yet another tribute to the greatest story teller and vocalist in history.
In summary this is the best orchestra (especially horns) I’ve ever heard in the West End, the technology is mind-blowing and this is by far my favourite ‘song book’ musical of all time. 4*

Featuring most of Sinatra’s greatest hits, the show includes Fly Me To The Moon, My Way, New York, New York and I Get A Kick Out Of You.
The sound system is phenomenal and the production audio is remarkably slick.
To time the intro’s, lighting, band and videos with such ease and precision is not easy. Faultless during my performance. This is absolutely a 2015 feeling show.
My only disappointment was at times you were just watching a video, a video you can see on YouTube for example, for free.
The fact the orchestra was absolutely Live was somewhat lost during these moments. An unavoidable shame I suppose.
Also, the dancers at time were a little limp and distracting at times.
Having said that, during songs like ‘Sing Sing Sing’ it was totally mesmerising, thrilling and utterly sensational and invigorating. A different class!
Without question the Star of this show was the orchestra. So impressive with or without all of the ‘whizzers and bangs’ of this spectacular ultra-stimulating production.
The solo pieces allowed the horns to shine and proved what phenomenal musical talent are resident at ‘The Palace Of Show Business’ this summer.
I suppose I should review Frank’s vocals. At times he came across as cocky and was a little pitchy and occasionally totally off. But, I’m not one to speak ill of the dead so I’ll leave it there. Snort.
If you like Frank, you’ll LOVE ‘The Man & His Music’. 4*
