Review Cromer Pier Show Pavilion Theatre Norfolk 2015

Enjoy Celebrity Radio’s Review Cromer Pier Show Pavilion Theatre Norfolk 2015….

The Cromer Show is the last end of pier show in Europe.

This Norfolk Pavilion Theatre production is one of the few variety shows left in Britain, showcasing live ‘Spec’ acts at their best in the romantic setting of one of the most gorgeous seaside towns in the UK.

This show is the epitome of variety and everything you would hope for in an end of pier show.

With slick production, great lighting, professional acts and huge laughs – it’s a must see during any visit to Cromer!

There are two shows that alternate weekly. I saw ‘show 2’ Staring Paul Eastwood & Ben Langley who clearly are masters of their comedy with inspiring confidence and conviction.

With 2 lead singers, a musical act, 2 comedians & 6 dancers this is truly the definition of a variety show.

Here’s our Exclusive review via YouTube:

This intimate 500 seat theatre offers a traditional ‘end of pier’ feel bringing together quality acts including pop music, West End hits, speciality acts and camp old nonsense suitable for the whole family hosted by one of the UK’s top cabaret comedians.

With 150 costumes, 48 pairs of shoes, 40 pairs of tights, 33 hats, 31 fascinators and 24 petticoats – they’ve certainly invested a lot of time and money into making it the best it can possibly be.

Host Paul Eastwood is clearly a hugely experienced comedian and MC, effortlessly holding the show together. Ben Langley’s polish, warmth and charisma is obvious to all watching his enthusiastic set. Huge clever laughs throughout.

The dancers give 100% and Nigel Hogg’s musical accompaniment & arrangements are superb. The seamless flow of the show is only to be admired.

For me the costumes, comedy and legend of this show would bring me back every single year. It screams Britain and frankly underscores what makes it Great!

It is slightly disappointing that I was the youngest person in the theatre by about 40 years. Young people have to embrace this medium or unquestionably it will be lost. An inevitable tragedy for entertainment and The Cromer Pier. Fingers crossed this show can run and run and run.

As end of pier variety shows go, this is a 5* example.
