Review Blackpool Zoo….

Blackpool Zoo is a wonderful attraction just 15 minutes from the Blackpool Tower.

We visited on a gorgeous, sunny, warm Autumn day. This attraction is impressive!

From lions to penguins via rabbits to giraffes, all at their beautiful grounds – they’ve got it all!

As well as the animals there’s also several new play areas which the kids will love.

They can also enjoy the toy diggers, pet zoo and fantastic railway around the zoo.

You can spend a whole day enjoy the various talks, feeding sessions and even have lunch in the café.

One of the most popular new exhibits is the Dinosaur area. You can come face to face with the terrifying tyrannosaurus rex, mighty marine reptiles, awesome pterodactyls and more than 30 other stunning prehistoric creatures. The kids just LOVE this!

Open from 10am with adults from £16.99 & £12.99 for children. A GREAT value day out!

Mammals come in all shapes and sizes. From tiny pygmy marmosets to giant Asian elephants, from aardvarks to zebra, from goats to gorillas – they are all @ Blackpool Zoo.

There’s an ever-increasing and very varied collection of birds from around the world including parrots, flamingos, penguins, ostriches, emus, owls and wading birds.

Blackpool Zoo’s collection of reptiles includes snakes, lizards, geckos, caiman and iguanas.

Amphibians are cold-blooded animals which begin life as larvae. You’ll see them all from frogs, toads and newts!

Finally, your Dinosaur Safari will take you through 4 Ages, over running streams and even behind a living curtain of water.

Sound effects and thousands of authentic living plants and trees bring the prehistoric section to life beautifully. HUGE fun for the kids.
