Enjoy Alex Belfield’s Exclusive interview with Felix recorded Live at El Encuentro:
As you can see below, the entree’s are wonderfully rustic and beautifully presented.
I was lucky enough to sample the haddock with tomato sauce, the fabulously fresh sea bass (cooked to perfection) and the remarkable oxtail stew.
Everything is given time and love ~ I’m told even the tomato sauce is cooked for 9 hours before being served. I’m sure the ‘melt in your mouth oxtail’ was given equally as much time and dedication.
One of the most remarkable things about El Encuentro Restaurante is that they do not have a wine menu, they offer a wine wall where you can literally look at, consider and chose your wine right in front of your eyes. What a lovely idea.
The desserts were traditional and delicious. So light and refreshing…..
