Bistro One LR offers dishes inspired by the Spanish Riviera with fresh, sustainable, seasonal local seafood.
You can naturally enjoy the best steaks, an extensive wine list and creative desserts.
With colourful, creative and original combinations – you can’t fail to be impressed by Chef Agarwal’s cuisine.
To begin the focaccia bread was top notch – I always judge a great restaurant by it’s bread and the accompanying sun-dried tomato’s was a potential meal in itself.
Next came some smoked salmon with apple, kalamata olives, rocket and feta cheese. Hugely apetising, massively refreshing and a perfect prelude to this meal…
The wine selection at Bistro One LR really is impressive. Do checkout the menu. (picture 2 below).
Next came a true delight. A lobster dish with crab and ravioli – utterly divine.
The sauce was a sensation. Lobster bisque with veal stock. Hugely pleasurable.
This was followed by the Florida Grouper – fabulously meaty fish superbly cooked.
To go with this dish was couscous with yoghurt and chives.
A truly wonderfully festive dish offering something for ever seafood lovers palate.
The effort that went into making (very boring) couscous a mouth full of packed flavour was inspired.
Finally I couldn’t leave without trying the highly recommended steak.
I have to admit the fillet mignon was utterly delicious and incredibly tender and perfectly cooked.
This was accompanied by delicate vegetables and a wonderful beef stock gravy.
Desserts at Bistro One LR are much hyped….rightly so!
I sampled the Key Lime Tart (not pie).
Next came the honey crème-caramel / flan. With home made granola and fresh grapefruit. Massively creative and delicious.
Finally, the perfect end to my meal was the layered chocolate mouse cake with crème fresh on the side.

Huge kudos to Chef Gihen Zitouni. A huge talent who clearly has great pride and passion for her product.
