Pied a Terre Review ~ Charlotte St London

Enjoy Celebrity Radio’s Pied a Terre Review ~ Charlotte St London…..

Pied a Terre on Charlotte Street, London is one of the most enjoyable, reasonably priced and most relaxed Michelin starred restaurants I’ve visited in the Capital.

The service is incredible, the food is exceptional and the overall dining experience is wonderful.

There is no music whatsoever (thank goodness), the tables are nicely positioned and the attention to detail is exceptional.

Michelin star chef Marcus Eaves does a perfectly balanced job of offering classic food is a modern style with French class.

The amuse bouche (Pic 2) were some of the most delicious I’ve tasted. A mixture of salmon & fois gras…how could you lose?

I must mention the bread selection which is to die for! Make sure you try the bacon brioche….fab!

Marinated Scottish Scallops with Toasted Hazelnuts, Caramelised Celeriac and Confit Buddha Lemon were beautifully presented and the flavours did not overwhelm the delicacy. Top marks.

Everyone knows Belfield can’t resist the seared foie gras. He doesn’t like it ruined by too much “clutter”.

It has to be said that Chef did a lot with the dish adding Passion Fruit Curd, Puff Wild Rice, Glazed Endive and Puy Lentils, however, it did not ruin the overall taste although these delicious flavours did somewhat distract from the glorious FG.  A terrific dish though….almost too good!

Next, Alex loved every mouthful of the beautifully tender slow cooked lamb with pea puree. It was simply divine.

This restaurant was excellent. I cannot wait to visit again.
