Perry Benson is an English character actor best known for his regular roles in British television sitcoms You Rang, M’Lord?, Oh, Doctor Beeching! and Operation Good Guys.
His first television appearance was as “Boy on Stairs” in the second episode of the BBC Children’s drama, Grange Hill, in 1978.
Most recently Perry starred in Benidorm on ITV as Clive Dyke.
This summer Perry is starring in “Performers” by Irving Welsh at the Assembly Rooms at the Edinburgh Festival.

Performers is a dark, subtle comedy with a cast of 4. A play of one scene, that narrates the story of two unwitting gangsters who find themselves auditioning for a part in the film.
Packed full of cultural reference points from the swinging sixties, the play presents an altogether inspiring twist on a classic casting couch situation.
