Paul Zerdin is the UK’s leading comedy ventriloquist from London.
Zerdin first appeared on TV as the winner of the Big, Big, Talent Show presented by Jonathan Ross. He performed at the Royal Variety Performance in 1997, 2002 and 2009.
He’s also even appeared on The Jerry Springer Show (as a Star guest…nothing involving a farm animals or a third wife).
Paul’s new show and DVD ‘No Strings’ features three of his most popuiar characters….plus members of the audience.

Paul’s show is a stunning example of live performance. Zerdin ticks all the boxes – you can just tell he’s dedicated his entire life to his craft.
His show was born to be in Las Vegas in a huge showroom. He’s leagues above most in his trade.

Featuring ‘the baby’, Sam & Grandad – this cheeky (at times naughty but not smutty) show crescendo’s through relatable stories and jokes from birth through deaf….I mean death!
Zerdin finishes the show with two of the most clever bits of theatre I’ve ever seen in this type of show. I won’t spoil it but it is basically what every single ventriloquist finishes with…but 100 times more slick, surprising, creative and clever! Genius.
I make no secret of my love for ‘Spec’ acts. Why not? They’ve dedicated their entire lives to master their art and Zerdin is at the top of his game. It’s brilliant that acts such as Paul are still on the road doing big business.
It was also brilliant to see teens, 30’s, 50’s and even 80’s at the show all enjoying his 15+ performance.
A special nod should go to his support act ‘Raymond & Mr. Timpkins’ – utterly superb and one of the freshest acts I’ve EVER seen. Thrilling to see a new who again have ploughed infinite effort into their hysterical act.
For transparency, if you don’t want to be involved in Paul’s show, I wouldn’t book for the front row. Poor Paula!
