The Patacona Resort Apartments are located a 15 minute drive from the centre of Valencia, Spain.

Overlooking the beach and Mediterranean Sea, these apartments offer the perfect location, incredible value for money and an incredibly spacious room.

Please be aware that the pool is only open in July & August and there are no sun loungers available out of this period despite wonderful temperatures of 20 degrees + from April onwards.

The Patacona Resort offers some of the best security I’ve ever seen in the world, let alone Spain. You need a to use your pass to get into the resort, into your building and of course a key to get into your apartment.

Once inside Patacona you can take advantage of the café restaurant where they offer a ‘Menu De Dia’ (daily special menu) for under 20 Euros for 3 courses.

There is also a private pool which is perfectly located in-between the two buildings which both face the sea.

The apartments are in two buildings with lifts to each floor.

You won’t be disappointed by the apartments which offer comfort & cleanliness and all of the amenities the 2014 traveller would require.

For me a ‘villa’ style holiday is far preferable to hotels. I love having a kitchen to cook lunch and a washing machine for laundry to save of baggage.

Patacona also offer a dishwasher, microwave and the usual iron, hair dryer and air conditioning within room.

Every room has a gorgeous balcony to watch the world go by and enjoy the gorgeous Mediterranean Sea view.

For me the 4 mile distance from the centre of Valencia was a blessing. This is roughly a 1h 15 minute walk into town along the beach.

Some people might find this a little too far, however, there are buses close by and a cab is less than 15 Euros.

This apartment complex offer tennis courts, a gym and mini golf. There is also a restaurant and cafeteria which is open exclusively to guests staying in the apartments.

Free Wifi is available at reception and in some rooms.

Parking is available outside the apartments if you choose to hire a rental car.

Patacona Resort Apartments are around 25 minutes from Valencia Airport and it will cost around 30 Euros in a cab.

I was allocated a 2 bedroom apartment. This comes with a double bed and 2 twin beds….

Patacona Resort Apartments is a great alternative to a hotel. For me, the opportunity to travel a little way out of town to get a relatively enormous apartment with a fully fitted kitchen is well worth the walk.

The Patacona apartments are set near the E-15 and V-21 motorways and are well-connected to the city centre by public transport. The town of Alboraya is less than 2 km away and secure private parking is available on site.
