This new restaurant has captured the heart of Miami South Beach. It has soul and authenticity.
Located just seconds from the beach on Ocean Drive, this 18 month old traditional Italian offers quality and delicious food.
Pappa & Ciccia originated in Doral (3o minutes away) for 9 years. It made the move across town and is attracting great hype.

Unlike so many, Pappa & Ciccia does not have pretention.
It offers great value, top service and great food.
With inside and Ocean Drive outside seating, you cannot fail to enjoy the Miami warmth and Italian charm.
So, to the food.
The focaccia comes highly rated. Crispy bottom with cherry tomatoes, parmesan and basil – it’s so good some people have it as an entrée!
Next chef served up the scallop wrapped in prosciutto with saffron sauce topped with octopus tail.
A very festive dish perfect for this fish obsessed town. The sauce was perfect complimenting the fish and not over powering it.
The final appetiser was famous pecorino cheese soufflé – cooked for 9 minutes…with porcini mushroom. A delight…
The most enjoyable, delicious and entertaining dish for me was the fabulous Salmon tartare.
This is pure theatre and I loved it for it’s talkability and flavour!
This creative salmon dish was served on a bed of fresh kiwi fruit with fennel and cherry smoke filling the dish.

For the entree tonight, Chef offered a dish from his home town.
This was Fregola with seafood – shrimp, lobster, clam, lobster & muscles.
Fregula / fregola a type of tiny, firm, round pasta from Sardinia similar to couscous.
This dish was the perfect main course at this delicious dinner…
