There’s no doubt that Virgin Atlantic offer some of the best lounges in the world for business travellers.
At EWR – Newark Airport, The Clubhouse is intimate, efficient, convenient and has exceptional service.
The Clubhouse has a lower Manhattan feel. It’s brilliantly designed to offer privacy and comfort no matter where you sit.
Located – Airside, after the security checks in Terminal B and within seconds of the gates.
Newark Clubhouse offers a special personal service unlike their much bigger lounges at Heathrow and JFK.
It’s a numbers game as 100’s use Heathrow – there are only 2 flights a day at Newark so they have time to go that extra mile.
The lounge is modern, impeccably clean and more or less have anything you need to make your transit as relaxing as possible.

The menu offers light options to a three course meal.
I loved the salmon salad with crispy capers, fennel and rocket salad.
The herb roasted cod was beautifully presented, fresh and comes with butter bean and potato ragout.
Everything cooked in-house to order….
While you soak up the chilled atmosphere, catch up on the news on your own flat screen TV and send any last-minute emails, we’ll serve you a freshly cooked meal in the sumptuous surrounds of the the Clubhouse.
A special nod should go to my server Rimona who mas mastered the art of service and hospitality. She’s a tribute to Virgin Atlantic and exactly what Branson stands for.
Why not stretch out in the cocktail bar and let us mix up your favourite tipple?
You can also shower, refresh and relax with the bathroom facilities. Newark Clubhouse does not offer a Spa.
Virgin Atlantic fly Airbus aircraft to and from London from EWR Newark.
These aircraft are much smaller than the JFK 747’s therefore the Upperclass flatbed is slightly smaller and the cabin does not feel quite as spacious. Other than the seat size, everything else with on-board service is exactly the same.
