Monty Python Reunion 2014 – John Cleese & Palin Interviews

Yay! There’s a Monty Python Reunion 2014…..

Enjoy and in-depth and Exclusive interview with both Michael Palin & John Cleese.

John Cleese, Michael Palin, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle and Terry Jones, who are all in their seventies, have announced that they are reforming for a reunion show in 2014.

The original members of Monty Python will reunite more than 30 years after the comedy troupe last worked together.

John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Terry Jones, Eric Idle and Michael Palin will officially announce their reformation at a London press conference on Thursday. The five surviving members have reportedly been in months of secret talks about getting the Flying Circus back on the road.

The reunion comes after several failed attempts to reform by the group. However, according to The Sun, the surviving members realised “it was now or never”, and had decided to embark upon “a fully-fledged reunion”.

The comedy group is best known for TV sketch show Monty Python’s Flying Circus, which first aired in 1969 and continued for 45 episodes until 1974.

Their popular films include 1975’s Monty Python and the Holy Grail and Monty Python’s Life of Brian released four years later.

The latter cult classic proved controversial and was banned from some cinemas for its use of blasphemy.

The last time all six original Monty Python members collaborated together was in the 1983 film The Meaning of Life, releasedsix years before 48-year-old Graham Chapman’s death from cancer in 1989.

Rumours of a comeback have circulated in the past but the remaining members’ only full reunion so far has been at the world premiere of musical Spamalot, based on the Holy Grail, in 2005.
