Since his first No.1 in 1985, he’s worked with some of the biggest and most memorable bands in the world including Slik, The Rich Kids, Thin Lizzy, Visage and Ultravox.
He was most spectacularly the man behind the most famous one off group in musical history – Band Aid.
From struggles with alcoholism to Starring around the world – he’s done it all.
Midge is back on tour internationally throughout 2015 with his solo show and part of ‘The 80’s Invasion’ in 2016.

Ure co-wrote and produced the charity single “Do They Know It’s Christmas?”, which has sold 3.7 million copies in the UK.
The song is the second biggest selling single in UK chart history.
Midge co-organised Band Aid, Live Aid and Live 8 with Bob Geldof. Ure acts as trustee for the charity, and serves as ambassador for Save the Children.
Hes had four other UK top-30 solo hit singles: “No Regrets”, “That Certain Smile”, “Call of the Wild” and “Cold, Cold Heart”.
