Michael Harrison is one of the UK’s most successful and respected producers in history.
This year alone he’s producing Benidorm LIVE, Bodyguard The Musical, Snow White at the London Palladium, Golidlocks in Newcastle and Annie in 2019….amongst many others.
Michael loves show business and variety and we caught up with him at the glorious Nottingham Theatre Royal ahead of Peter Pan to discuss the artform, how you entertain young audiences and whether a panto can have too much innuendo…

Michael Harrison, at38 is king of the commercial pantomime in his role as managing director of the Qdos Entertainment Group. This year he’ll oversee 39 productions!
As well as panto he will simultaneously produce West End shows including The Bodyguard.
He launched the Bodyguard 6 years ago at the Adelphi Theatre with producing partner David Ian. It later toured the world with productions in Germany, Holland, US, Korea and Australia.
Harrison is a prolific manager of touring shows having produced Funny Girl and Beautiful and most recently Mel Brooks’ masterpiece ‘Young Frankenstein’ that opened in Newcastle next before transfering to the West End.
