LVH ~ Las Vegas Hilton is certainly one of the most iconic, respected, legendary and most loved properties in Sin City.
Located next to the LV Convention Centre with incredible transport links to the Strip, this hotel covers 64 acres, with over 3000 rooms – this is one of the biggest in Vegas.
It was home to The King. Elvis Presley who played more shows at the LVH than anywhere else in the world.
This hotel and casino, located just behind the Las Vegas Boulevard has everything you will need for a fabulous stay in Las Vegas – great rooms, amazing restaurants, a top pool, great casino and bags of history!
Enjoy an Exclusive Audio / Visual Review with Alex Belfield recorded at LVH via YouTube:
You will not be disappointed with the standard of room. As you would expect from Hilton, it’s impeccably clean & modern.
The hotel has several Live shows and many top restaurant.
The pool is located on the 3rd floor with fabulous views of the Las Vegas skyline.
There’s a spa and world class casino especially popular with locals due to its benefits and rewards.
Firstly, the highlight for me was the LVH newest production ‘Raiding The Rock Vault’.
This high energy, brilliantly performed rock concert features big hits by legends including Robin McAuley who has stunning vocals, Howard Leese from Bad Company & rock pianist Michael T Ross….
Alex Belfield went backstage to meet Rock Legend Doug Aldrich from Whitesnake to talk about the show:
LVH is certainly home to the Stars.
Liberace headlined in the showroom during the 1970s drawing sold-out crowds twice per night. When he signed his contract at the Hilton in 1972 he earned $300,000 per week, a record amount for individual entertainers in Las Vegas.
Elvis performed his longest run of consecutive shows at Las Vegas Hilton and is without question their biggest claim to fame. Rightly so!
Here’s Alex & Doug backstage at the Las Vegas Hilton in the ‘secret bar’ – now blocked off and not open to the public – where Elvis entertained before and after his 58 performances whilst at the peak of his career….
So back to the rooms at LVH.
The rooms are formal and of a very high standard. The linen, bedding and quality of the bed is superb as you would expect from Hilton.
The bathrooms are smart with a large bath and shower.
My only disappointment with the LVH was that coffee, water and internet is all charged to the room. This is now very rare in Las Vegas with these usually being included within the room or resort fee.
Don’t miss the pool on the third floor.
It’s huge, well designed and has a Live DJ throughout the day.
Don’t miss Benihana at LVH.
This is one of the most popular and successful restaurants in the world celebrating 50 years in 2014.
It’s thrilling and magnificent to watch the chefs cook your meal at the table and entertain you with their unique brand of comedy.
Also on the 3rd floor is the Las Vegas Hilton Spa.
This is an elegant space with gym, steam rooms, hot tubs, Jacuzzi as well as treatment rooms.
You really should take advantage of the Spa in Las Vegas – it’s a rare opportunity for calm, relaxation and serenity.
If you book a treatment (highly recommended) you automatically get access to the spa & gym facilities….
The service and hospitality at LVH Spa is as good as any major hotel and casino but at half the price.
Also, look out for specials in your room…
