Enjoy Celebrity Radio’s Lee Nelson Interview UK Tour 5* Review / Kanye Blatter Prank…
Comedian Lee Nelson – (Simon Brodkin) – has taken comedy by storm with his high profile stunts, pranks & sell-out stand-up comedy.
He’s now on tour through May 2016 and we caught him Live tonight in Nottingham.
This man is truly a comedy genius who clearly has one of the sharpest minds & wit in the business.
Lee has jokes and punchlines – so refreshing & rare. No self-indulgent ego-wanking monologues and self-promotion. Just none stop belly laughs.
Rarely I have seen such ease and confidence using his audience throughout the entire set for whopping belly laughs.
Arguably his continuous ad-libs and zingers were even better than his beautifully crafted material. Perfect time and tone.
Lee’s material is R18 but he’s so charming he pulls it off magnificently.
‘Suited & Booted’ is a hugely polished ‘old school’ example of a man with 1000 jokes. Lee/Simon appears to have a line for everything and that’s inspiring to watch!
The confidence in his very adult material is inspired. This is the best comedy I’ve seen in 2015. I haven’t made it past the interval for most others.
Quite rightly Nelson deserved his standing ovation from this sell-out crowd in Notts.

Hear Lee Nelson in conversation with Alex Belfield:
There’s no warm-up or filler with Lee Nelson – 2 hours straight of the Star turn. We love him for that!
On TV Nelson most famously stormed the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury during Kanye West’s headline performance in 2015,
Next, Nelson hysterically disrupted Fifa president Sepp Blatter’s press conference, throwing a bundle of money at the 79-year-old and shouting “Sepp, this is for North Korea in 2026”.
He also tried to get on the England Football team bus at the World Cup.
All of these wind-ups made international headlines around the world. On stage his stand-up is hysterical with cleverly crafted gags, audience interaction and satire.
Brodkin qualified as a medical doctor prior to becoming a comedian.
Lee has appeared on From Baghdad to Balham (C4); Al Murray’s Multiple Personality Disorder (ITV); Lee Nelson’s Well Good Show (BBC Three); Comedy Rocks with Jason Manford (ITV); Live at the Apollo (BBC One); Lee Nelson’s Well Funny People (BBC Three).
