The service is impeccable, the food is perfectly cooked and the ingredients are top notch.

Chef Testa comes to La Gloutonnerie with huge credentials in Europe. He clearly has a flair and passion for wholesome cooking.
His food (as with all top French chefs) is utterly flavoursome but not pretentious. He celebrates his ingredients fabulously.
I visited for Sunday Brunch and was amazed by the standard of produce.
This is not a Vegas style ‘pile high & feed ’em quick’, this is a very French affair – relaxed, elegant, divine selection and utterly delicious.

To begin the salad selection is truly impressive. With every possible accoutrement you can think of, it was a vegie’s delight.
The breads on offer was utterly carbalicious – from croissants to French stick and rolls – there’s something for everyone.
Also, La Gloutonnerie is renowned for it’s charcuterie – the brunch doesn’t disappoint. Wonderful hams, turkey & various cuts to enjoy.

The seafood at La Gloutonnerie is, as you would expect, top of the line.
From shrimp, lobster risotto, oysters, salmon to Coquille Saint Jacques (gorgeous scallops) – they do it all!
I was utterly impressed by the freshness and abundance of these delicacies…
Obviously no America brunch would be complete without an omelette stand.
Served to order, you cannot fail to enjoy your fresh eggs cooked in front of your eyes (picture 3 below).
There is also a hugely impressive selection of meat including beautifully rare and tender beef as well as lamb. (Pic 2).
Don’t miss the bacon and sausage – totally delicious!
As you would expect from every French brunch or breakfast – crepes MUST be on the menu. La Gloutonnerie doesn’t disappoint.
Finally you can’t miss dessert.
Using the finest chocolate, cream and fruit – the pastry chef is clearly a mast of his trade.
There’s something for everyone from truffles, strawberry mouse to tarte au citron….
For dinner the menu has an array of delicious French fair including Coquille Saint Jacques, Lobster Risotto with smoked pancetta, Dover Sole Meunier with capers and lemon, Duck Confit with plum sauce and Joue de Boeuf a la Bourguignonne.
Don’t miss a traditional Grand Marnier Souffle – I hear it’s sensational!
La Gloutonnerie is open for dinner 7 days a week: Sun-Thurs, 6pm-11pm and Fri-Sat, 6pm-12am. Brunch is available on Sunday’s from 11am-4pm.
