With only a month to go before Christmas, one in four Brits have revealed they are worried that family and friends will judge the appearance of their home over the festive period, with a fifth admitting that getting their home ready for Christmas is one of their biggest stresses.
New research from Polycell’s Tough Little Polyfilla has found that Brits are expecting to spend 22 hours over the next five weeks doing up their home for Christmas, spending an average of £73 on DIY jobs.
Despite nearly two thirds admitting they feel their happiest when their home looks its best, some 40% believe that their home is in need of a festive fix up.

Not content with just one business Jo set up The Good Life Centre in 2011, alongside her business partner. The Good Life Centre is a learning venue that teaches long lost life skills such as DIY, upholstery and carpentry.
Jo is a regular speaker at business events and mentors a number of young entrepreneurs.
