Dr Christian Jessen is the Star presenter of ‘Embarrassing Illnesses’, ‘Supersize Vs Superskinny’, the BAFTA award winning ‘Embarrassing Bodies’ and ‘The Ugly Face of Beauty.’
Jessen graduated in 2000 from University College London, having trained in
general medicine, infectious disease, travel medicine and sexual health/HIV.
Dr Christian is medical advisor and columnist for Closer magazine, he writes a weekly
health column for the Evening Standard and a monthly column for Top Santé
magazine.
His book ‘Supersize vs Superskinny’ accompanies the hit series of the same name and is currently available.
Dr Christian was born and lives in London. He enjoys foreign travel, working out,
music and art.

Dr Christian talks about the 2016 culture of ‘de-friending’.
According to new research commissioned by Sure Antibacterial Odour Protection, shockingly, one in three people polled have a friend in their circle which they either have, or want to ‘de-friend’.
The main reason for this friendship cull is bad social habits.
Critical factors that have led to de-friending include bad body odour (24%), bad breath (24%), embarrassing dress sense (8%) and laziness (31%), with some ‘friends’ having an almost never ending list of complaints.
