Enjoy Celebrity Radio’s Honey Salt Restaurant Review Summerlin….
Honey Salt is a hugely refreshing restaurant both visually and in terms of its cuisine.
Located in Summerlin, just 25 minutes from the centre of Las Vegas boulevard – it’s definitely worth the journey!
This eatery offers an airy open space, quaint & unique and a relaxed dining atmosphere – clearly popular with locals. A great sign of huge success.
Decorated with chandeliers, original art and decadent mirrors – this room has class….
As everyone knows I judge a restaurant by its bread and butter. The Honey Salt butter was some of the most flavoursome I’ve tasted with honey with olive oil & volcanic sea salt.
First came a gorgeous amuse. This was the most fresh soup in a delicate cup. This wasn’t mush, you could identify all of the fresh vegetables in every mouthful.

The menu is very accessible but clearly exceeds the ambition of most restaurants.
Executive Chef Joe Zanelli & GM Stephen Jerome have done a great job with this dining experience.
When I see soft shell crab – I’m excited! It was some of the most gorgeous I’ve tasted. Complete with fennel citrus salad – this is a culinary dream!
Serrano ham on toast with manchego cheese is one of my favourite dishes EVER. I loved it. The chilli powder and olive oil gave it an extra twang….
Finally to begin, chef kindly offered me the octopus which I usually hate. This though was some of the most meaty, tender and well cooked I’ve ever been served. I’m thrilled I accepted the offer….
The presentation of the food at Honey Salt is really something special. Relatively usual ingredients cooked to perfection and presented beautifully.
So, for entrees the options for me seemed almost infinite.
I couldn’t resist the caramelized sea scallops with charred cauliflower, vanilla beans and truffle puree. This was my personal favourite by far. A beautifully balanced dish cooked to perfection without overpowering the delicate scallop flavour.
Next came the pork chop – usually tough and tasteless – not at Honey Salt!
Finally don’t miss Mary’s Brick Oven Chicken. Coming with mac n’ cheese with kale, this beautifully presented dish will not disappoint.
Finally the desserts are to die for. Seriously impressive.
WARNING – the diet goes out of the window! You want to stop but you won’t I guarantee…..
The brownie ‘on the house’ was some of the most moist and delicious chocolate I’ve tasted in Las Vegas. Utterly decadent and indulgent with a gorgeous melted chocolate sauce in the middle.
The Brooky was like the house brownie on acid. Chocolate with cookie, with more chocolate and chocolate chip – WOW!
Most surprising of all was the Lemon Pie with ice-cream. The divine ‘lemon curd-esk’ flavour was divine. So moreish….
Honey Salt is a real gem in Las Vegas offering great value and fabulous food in the oasis of calm away from the strip.
Look at this delicious 3 layered popcorn caramel desert – to die for!
