Holiday Inn Kings Cross ~ Room & Restaurant Review
The Holiday Inn Kings Cross is located about 15 minutes away from Kings Cross and St Pancras stations.
You can walk to Covent Garden, Leicester Square and of cause the West End within 30-40 minutes.
Here’s the Audio/Visual review via YouTube – the written review is below:
This hotel is of a high standard which its rates reflect. It is slightly outside the of West End therefore has lower rates than sister hotels. It’s between £5-£10 for a cab to Oxford Street.
As always with similar branded hotels, I would highly recommend an Executive Room on the 8th floor as these offer best value, standard and size of room.
As you would expect with a brand as big and successful as Holiday Inn, the beds and cushions are of a very high standard:
As you can see, the Exec Rooms come with a small but welcomed & relaxing sofa area.
The bathrooms are as always – clean, modern and well equip:
The food at the Holiday Inn Kings Cross is exactly what you would expect – It’s affordable, simple, nice selection and can be brought to your room.
Here’s a selection of dishes from the room service menu including the Fish & Chips & Club Sandwich….
You may prefer to try their Indian restaurant Rasa Maricham restaurant or the ‘Carriages Brasserie’ which is open all day and serves dinner from 6pm.
Here’s two of the very nicely presented starters of the ‘Meal Of The Day’ menu. The standard of food is far better & fresher off the daily menu.
Here’s the tomato and mozzerella salad and the delicious duck terrine…..
The breakfast is also served from 6.30am until 10.30 weekends and 11am on the weekends. It has everything you would hope for located in the Indian restaurant. Again, basic but has everything you need including fresh fruit, juices, full English and toast.
Enjoy your stay @ Holiday Inn Kings Cross Bloomsbury London.
