Enjoy Celebrity Radio’s Hilton East Midlands Airport Hotel Review…..
Hilton East Midlands Airport is perfectly located in-between Nottingham and Derby at J24A of the M1.
You are within 25 minutes of Nottingham, 20 minutes of Derby and just 5 minutes away from East Midlands Airport. You’re 10 minutes away from the new Notts / Derby / Leicester train hub ‘East Midlands Parkway’.
This hotel is of great standard. I highly recommend the ‘Deluxe Standard’ rooms. These rooms are modern, clean, appear recently refurbished and very spacious. I was hugely impressed overall.
This hotel far exceeds expectations for a ‘airport hotel’, these are usually very basic. However, Hilton EMA even offers a lovely gym and full sized pool – unique and most welcome.

As you can see below, the ‘Deluxe Standard’ rooms come with a lounge area with a settee and table plus a desk area with plasma TV.
What is most refreshing about these rooms, (Room 405 where I stayed), there are plenty of lamps and endless plugs for your laptop, Iphone and endless other devices. So simply but incredibly rare in hotel rooms these days.
You can park at the Hilton East Midlands Airport for just £5 per day. You can get a mini-bus transfer from the hotel to EMA which runs every 20 minutes from the top of the hour.
Obviously Wifi is available and if you have a mobile BT account you can access for free.
The reception is incredibly spacious and welcoming.
The bathrooms are clean, fresh, come with a shower and bath and have more than enough room.
As previously mentioned, another asset to this property is the gym and pool. These facilities are incredibly rare in a provincial or airport hotel. To have a large pool is a real treat and is open to all customers. After 7pm it is a ‘children free zone’ – perfect for business travellers.

What is also great about this hotel is that with it not being ‘city centre’, it is far more reasonably priced than your average Hilton property. I high recommend the drive from your location to save money and have a special time.
The staff from room service to reception could not have been more helpful.
As you would expect with every Hilton Hotel, the breakfast is indulgent with more or less everything you can think of….
From cold cuts to cereals & the obvious toast, yoghurt, fresh fruit to the full English – they really do offer it all.
The room is relaxing and the service naturally impeccable.
The hotel also has full conferencing facilities.
Overall, the Hilton East Midlands Airport is a very good standard hotel. You would expect no less from Hilton. Normally I can pick fault with something in the room, the property or transit but I have to say this hotel was faultless.
The rooms are perfectly equip, clean and modern. The facilities are as good as any hotel I’ve been in & it is impossible to find any fault with the breakfast.
Bravo Hilton East Midlands Airport. I look forward to staying again.
