Enjoy Celebrity Radio’s Hermosa Bistro Review Calle Puerto Cabopino Marbella….
Located just 15 minutes from Puerto Banus in the centre of Marbella, Hermosa ‘Fine California Dining’ is located in the beautiful, quaint and tranquil surroundings of Puerto Cabopino.
Offering an accessible menu of freshly cooked seasonal ingredience – Hermosa really is a fabulous alternative to the traditional Spanish tapas dining experience…..

Hermosa offers an elegant dining room with an outside area should you prefer.
This independently owned, family run eatery offers a relaxed atmosphere with polite, helpful and warm service.
Clearly hugely popular by locals, with people cueing out of the door – Hermosa Bistro obviously has a huge following at the time other restaurants close by were completely empty.

Once seated you are offered a menu of locally sourced, unique food from “Tuscany to the Pacific Rim”.
I literally could have eaten every single dish on the menu. Such fresh, crisp & delicious flavours.
To begin I thoroughly enjoyed the ‘Thai Spiced Minced Chicken Lettuce Cups’. So refreshing and perfect for a Costa Del Sol summers evening. These beautifully healthy and flavoursome ‘chicken wraps’ are served with a spicy ponzu dipping sauce, roasted peanuts, chili & mint.
Next I tried the salmon fish cakes with aioli. These Indonesian themed appetizer comes with Asian pickled cucumbers, slow roasted garlic aioli & ‘ponzu’ dressed leaves. A glorious way to start your meal – so crispy on the outside, moist on the inside and comes with an added spice kick…..
For your main course I have to seriously recommend the ‘deconstructed’ paella.
This dish was truly sensational! The epitome of modern Spanish cuisine.
With perfectly cooked sea bass, shrimp, octopus, salmon & more sitting on a bed of divine rice. I loved it
This dish is so often gloopy, heavy, over cooked and stodgy – not at Hermosa! The rice was fresh out of the pan and the fish straight out of the sea.
Best paella I’ve tasted…..
I couldn’t visit Hermosa Bistro without sampling their Lamb Shank.
This slow braised carnivore’s delight was beautifully tender and packed with flavour.
The shank was placed on a bed of baby potatoes, parmesan creamed spinach & artichokes, French beans, Cabernet & rosemary jus.
Finally, dessert – why not!?
On direction that I adore chocolate, Chef sent out the most moist and chocolaty brownie I’ve ever tasted….even in America!
Perfectly served – warm, addictively moreish and accompanied by chocolate sauce & vanilla ice-cream.
Next came the home made doughnuts. Normally my least favourite, these were so light, crispy and accompanied with orange & cinnamon sugar & Tia-Maria chocolate milkshake. WOW! Leave you Slimmers World chart at the door!
Bravo Hermosa! I wish you were in my home town.
Great value, creative flavours and deliciously fresh, local and season ingredients.
It’s not surprising that this restaurant is permanently busy and filled with foodies who appreciate food that is lovingly created with owners who clearly care about their loyal following.
Nothing too fancy, rich or overwhelming – light delicate flavours with great ingredients perfectly cooked.
