Wonderful interview. So eloquent. Jonathan goes from strength to strength. I’ve always been a big fan.
Really enjoying the radio interview, Jonathan. Good to hear you talk at length. It was a privilege seeing you at the Sage last year, and meeting you afterwards, and I’m eagerly anticipating the G4 re-union at the City Hall, Newcastle. So excited, in fact. The one must-see concert of the year! Great music with the fun element. Best of everything and enjoy the tour.
P.S Do people tell you Jon Stead, Bradford’s footballer is your double? I thought that when he played for Sunderland and even so now that you’re officially ‘northern’! Are you related by any chance? x
Great interview Alex
Jonathan is a lovely genuine guy with a great persona. My husband and I have been privileged to have been at many of his shows including musical theatre and of course such wonderful Jonathan concerts. Jonathan has a unique voice and I have seen many folks moved by his amazing performances.
We knew from the very first time of seeing G4 on the X Factor that there was something very special about these guys. Winning a competition and having G4 sing at our home was one of my dreams come true, the other was a trip on the London Eye (fan group) where Jonathan serenaded us. Both of these special events were just the most perfect day. It was also a very special day for me as I could never imagine myself on the London Eye I had refused this invitation many times and hoped that I would be able to do this on this special day. I was absolutely terrified I do not like heights I am forever grateful to my husband who stood in my way so I could not go back as I decided at the very last minute just as we were all boarding that I could not do this, he said you can, I remember seeing the capsule slowly rising and just jumped. Once aboard the Eye Jonathan made everyone feel very relaxed, before too long the Champagne corks were popping the cameras were clicking and Jonathan’s vocals were truly amazing what a very special day indeed.
Really looking forward to our G4 Reunion Concert shows that we have planned throughout the year starting on the 4th April at the beautiful City Varieties Theatre. Also looking forward to our shows booked with Jonathan at Sherborne Abbey 30th May, Rochester Cathedral 16th October and the beautiful Sant’ Angelo Italian Restaurant on the 23rd October where we have a table of 29 lovely Jonathan fans, wined dined and serenaded by Jonathan this sounds to be a most perfect evening.
Loved your comment about Jonathan having an incredible distinctive and wonderful voice! so true.
Christine. x
