Last week Frank Marino’s DIVAS closed @ LINQ Las Vegas to the shock and confusion of Sin City.
Frank has been a headliner in Vegas for 33 years but “mutually agreed with Caesars Entertainment” on Thursday 28th June 2018 that his show would close with immediate effect.
It later transpired that the reason for the swift shutter, starring Vegas’ longest serving headliner, was due to missing payments to MAKE A WISH charity from DIVAS merchandise sales.

“As some are aware, I have historically given a portion of the proceeds from the sales of certain
Divas Las Vegas merchandise to the Make a Wish Foundation as well as incorporating them into
special events like my Celebrity Roast held at the Stratosphere Hotel in which all of the proceeds
and donations were given to them personally.
I’m saddened to say that due to my own negligence, Make a Wish has not received a check from
me for some time.
I am personally embarrassed and ashamed. I take full responsibility and am sincerely apologetic
for this situation.
I have confirmed the figure which I would have customarily donated to them from a percentage
of my merchandise sales and have offered to substantially increase that many times over.
Make a Wish is an important charity and my favorite in the world because it lifts the hearts and
spirits of children desperately in need of joy, comfort, and compassion. I hope my mistake will
not prevent others from donating generously to this organization and I pray that I will be able to
work with them for many years to come.
Numerous other false allegations have been circulated, they are inaccurate; Divas agreed with
Caesars to terminate the production which had been performed 7 days a week.
I personally want to state that Caesars Entertainment and the Divas Las Vegas show has always
maintained a very positive and professional working relationship. I also want to go on record and
state that the last 8 years of performing at the LINQ Hotel has been nothing less than a wonderful
and amazing experience for both myself and my cast. Caesars is a great organization and it was
my honor to provide the Divas Show at the LINQ for so many years.”
Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada President and Chief Executive Officer Caroline Ciocca responded Tuesday afternoon via text:
“While we were very disappointed to learn about this situation, our understanding is that things will be made right,” she said. “We are so grateful for the many corporations and individuals in our community who support our kids by helping us grant life-changing wishes. This situation will not deter us from our mission of helping as many children as possible.”

Now playing at the new LINQ Las Vegas, this fast paced, high energy, ludicrously camp female impersonator show, is still entertaining huge crowds nightly at 9.30pm.
If you’re smart you can even find “4 Tix 4 $20” offers at places like Denny’s & at sister show ‘Legends’. An amazing offer even by Sin City standards.
Frank has wonderful warmth and comic timing, although the sound was a little muffled during my performance in May 2016.
Marino holds the entire show together in character as Joan Rivers with more than 10 other acts performing as Cher, Liza, Bette Midler, Lady Gaga, Beyoncé and more.
This show truly is hysterical in places and leaves you totally uplifted! The dancers, especially the guys give 100% and drive the show with terrific energy.
The girls in front of me had the best night out judging by their reaction.

During the 90 minute revue, superstar female impersonators portray famous divas including Britney Spears, Cher, Madonna, Dolly Parton, Diana Ross and Beyonce.
Joan Rivers personally endorsed his act in this show. He now pays tribute and homage to this comic legend throughout the show.
His acid tongue and comic timing is second to none! The audience truly loved his 20 minute set to start the show. He tells the crowd:
“You won’t believe what we have going on back stage. We have Madonna, Cher and Bette Midler getting ready, and they’re all shaving in the same mirror”.
This is the ultimate face paced, feel good show. The sound is remarkable, the lighting is great and the acts leave the audience in awe and often laughing out loud.
