DSB found fame in the mid-1950s and has been called “one of the most popular female vocalists in Britain during the last half of the 20th century”.
In the US, in particular, she is best known for recording the theme songs to the James Bond films Goldfinger (1964), Diamonds Are Forever (1971), and Moonraker (1979).
Blake and Alex Belfield first met over 8 years ago when the group formed and quickly hit the charts.
Mixing eclectic classical and pop songs with rich harmony vocals, harmony singers Blake launched their first album in 2007, just 6 months after reuniting as friends on Facebook.
Olly, Humphrey & Stephen have a unique chemistry and a rare vocal synergy.
The debut album went straight to number One in the UK Classical Album Chart and into the Top Twenty Pop Chart.
Blake met Dame Shirley at a charity event and haven’t looked back since!
Recorded 15th December 2015 at the Ritz by Alex Belfield for Celebrity Radio.

The interview of Shirley with Alex Bellfield and Blake was fabulous. Shirley looked so well and happy. Alex was right in saying that we are waiting to hear that Shirley is to tour again, Even if Shirley sings just for an hour and chats to the audience we would love it.
We have seen every show she has ever done in Birmingham, even at the Odeon in New Street. Please reconsider Shirley your fans are waiting for you. Wishing you every happiness for Christmas and 2016. Oh, and Happy Birthday January 8th!
