When Margaret Bingham from Leeds came into BBC Radio Leeds to tell Alex about the death of her son Kieran after a motorbike accident, it was one of the most moving of Belfield’s career.

Here’s the outcome of the court case:
Sewell, of High Bank View, Whitkirk, Leeds, pleaded guilty to causing death by careless driving.
John Bull, prosecuting, told the court the incident happened at around 5pm on January 4 on Ledger Lane, Outwood.
Self-employed kitchen fitter Sewell had just dropped his colleague off at his home in his BMW when the incident happened.
The road was too narrow for him to make a U-turn as parked cars were on either side of the carriageway.
As he pulled out to make a three point turn, Mr Bingham’s Yamaha machine stuck his vehicle and he was thrown over the handlebars. He died of his injuries eight days later.
The court heard how Sewell, described as being of “exemplary character”, immediately tried to help Mr Bingham and called emergency services.
He later told officers that he had checked his mirrors but had failed to indicate before carrying out the manoeuvre.
Michael Walsh, mitigating, said Sewell had been left distraught by the incident.
Mr Walsh said: “Mr Sewell, on January 4 this year, decided to take a calculated risk. That risk was to make a three-point turn on a public road.
“But when those calculated risks, for whatever reason, go wrong, those drivers have to face the outcome.”
Judge Kerry Macgill gave Sewell a 26 week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, and a 12-month driving ban.
