Charlie Brooks is one of the most loved actresses of her generation. Most famously Charlie Starred as Janine Butcher in Eastenders on BBC1.
She quickly becaome one of the the most loved and hated ‘soap bitches’ playing her manipulative role to perfection.
Her compelling portrayal earned her endless awards. Her character first appeared in 1999, with storylines involving cocaine addiction, prostitution and ultimately murder.
Since then Ms. Brook won ‘I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’ & BBC’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ at Christmas 2011.
Charlie is currently Starring in ‘Beautiful Thing’ by Jonathan Harvey touring the UK and going into the West End in June 2015.

Brooks has appeared in British television shows; The Bill, Wired and Bleak House, the latter a role for which she received much critical acclaim.
Brooks released a highly popular and bestseller fitness DVD, “Before And After Workout”.
At the age of 16, Brooks attended Arts Educational to prepare for her A-levels, which she “loved”. Whilst studying, she got the role of Janine Butcher in EastEnders.
She said of this in 2006, “I stupidly dropped my studies. I was a silly girl. I regret that so much I am going to work hard and sit them. I hope to do a degree in English”, which she started in 2006.
