Stevi Ritchie, the singing call centre operator with a heart of gold, had the best time on The X Factor.
He was the talk of X-factor 2014 and deservedly so. He brought fun and personality to the ITV audition show.
From his first Room Audition where he had all the Judges in hysterics, to his Judges’ Houses performance, he entertained the nation.
He was finally eliminated in week seven after all the Judges bar Simon saved Andrea but his unforgettable performances will go down in X Factor history.
In August 2015 Stevi and new fiancé Chloe went into the CBB house!
Here’s Stevi in conversation:
Stevie “Stevi” Ritchie (born Steven Ritchie; 1980) is from Colchester.
He was not initially through to the live shows, but Fernandez-Versini brought him back as the Over 25s’ wildcard.
After the eliminations of Overload Generation in week 1 and Jack Walton and Lola Saunders in week 4, Ritchie was the last wildcard left in the competition. In week 6, Ritchie found himself in the bottom two with fellow Over 25 Jay James.
Stevi even took Simon Cowell to a Harvester for a romantic dinner…
Walsh and Cowell, his mentor, opted to send him home, but Mel B and Fernandez-Versini, who picked him as the wildcard act and had the casting vote, opted to send James home, resulting in Ritchie being saved by the public vote through deadlock.
The following week, he was in the bottom two again with Andrea Faustini and was eliminated by the judges with only his mentor Cowell voting to save him, becoming the last wildcard act to leave the competition. He finished in 6th place.
