Carol is best known for co-hosting the popular game show Countdown for 26 years from 1982 until 2008.
Vorders adored working with Richard Whiteley from 1982 until he passed away which devastated Carol.
Whilst appearing on Countdown, over 25 years Vorderman became one of the biggest and most loved Stars on UK TV!
Other shows include Better Homes and The Pride of Britain Awards for ITV, Have I Got News For You, The Sunday Night Project and Lorraine.

Since she became a freelance presenter, Vorderman has been a co-anchor of the ITV lunchtime chat show Loose Women since 2011, where she anchors once a week.
Carol is also the face of several high profile companies.
In 2013, she presented an eight-part cookery series for ITV named Food Glorious Food.
Alex was thrilled to work with Carol on Loose Women in 2013 when he did Warm-Up for the show.
