TLC’s “Cake Boss” star, Buddy Valastro has made his way from New Jersey to Las Vegas to bring his fabulous gastronomy and Carlo’s Bake Shop to Sin City. Carlo’s is named after his father.

Next, chef offered the Sicilian charred octopus which was divine. This comes with arugula radicchio olive oil potatoes with capers olive and the most colourful perfectly cooked 7 minute egg….
For the entree I couldn’t resist ‘Aunt Nina’s Mozzarella And Carozza!’ – WOW! This was pure authentic Italian fayre.
With Jersey city style mozzarella crustini & tomato ragu which blended together to make the most delicious, moreish and mouth affirming delight. I’d come back just for this!
Finally we loved the shrimp pasta. On the menu as ‘My Mother In Law’s Capellini Shrimp Scampi’. THe shrimp is so fresh and meaty…..
Finally you have to try dessert – let’s face it Buddy is world famous for it…literally!
Warm Apple Tart was my personal favourite. Such a surprise. This has cinnamon, caramel sauce with vanilla bean ice-cream. Wow, what a pleasure and joy.
‘Lisa’s Warm Nutella Cake’ was a chocoholics delight. So full of flavour and totally decadent.
Buddy’s XL Lobster Tail comes with custard cream, flaky pastry shell with seasonal fresh fruit.
Finally the service by Emily was excellent.
Such a joy of a lunch! I’ll be back to Buddy’s for sure.
