Bob Bob Ricard Restaurant Review 2015 Soho London

Enjoy Celebrity Radio’s Bob Bob Ricard Restaurant Review….

Bob Bob Ricard is a wonderful Soho restaurant offering decadence, indulgence and great service.

Located minutes from Piccadilly Circus, this elegant eatery has a 2015 menu and facilities but a feel of nostalgia and classier times.

The menu is perfectly designed with familiar dishes cooked perfectly without pretension.

With a Russian theme, this glorious restaurant is expensive but offers great value for money.

From the moment you arrive, the sophistication is obvious. The décor is glorious and the bar is nothing short of splendid.

So, to the menu….

The ingredients are sourced from small, traditionally run farms, dairies, fisheries and family-owned producers mainly in the British Isles.

To begin I couldn’t resist the ‘Stinking Bishop Soufflé’. Perfectly cooked and one of the most flavoursome and delicious dishes I’ve ever tasted.

We also tried the Seafood Ceviche was packed with flavour….

I loved that each table had a plug for phones/laptops.

I know this is totally anti-social, however, the reality is that people need to charge their phones – this is a clever touch.

Also, the ‘Press For Champagne’ button is a wonderful talking point. Such fun and is the epitome of the feel of this eatery.

The experience at BBR certainly how the WOW factor. The two dining are exceptional even by London’s standards.

The dining room is gorgeously designed with booths perfectly positioned so you can have a private conversation in a vibrant environment….

Downstaris ‘The Club Room’ is the new evening-only dining room, offering all the class and elegance in a decadent red-and-gold colour scheme.

This room has luxury booth seating and the famous “press for champagne” button at every table.

For the mains I couldn’t resist the Mariner’s Fish Pie with Haddock, Prawns, Mussels and Salmon. Incredibly moist, fresh and beautifully presented with a crispy crust.

My personal favourite was the ‘Suckling Pig Belly Pork’. I loved it. Again, divine crackling, beautifully cooked pork and wonderful accompaniments of mint peas and green vegetables on the side….

Finally the desserts are superb:

The mint chocolate soufflé was exceptional….

Served to order with mint sauce poured at the table, this is a chocoholics treat! Divine dessert cooked to perfection.

The Crème Brulee with orange drizzle was a delight. Refreshing, perfectly crisp on top and full of flavour throughout.

Top marks for desert.

The bill for 2 people with 3 courses was £130. By London standards this is not exception but the experience was.

The dining room is hugely impressive. Bravo BBR!
