Born in Rochdale, Bill Oddie made his name as an author, actor, comedian, artist, naturalist and musician, who became most famous as one of The Goodies.
A birdwatcher since his childhood in Birmingham, Oddie has now established a reputation as Britain’s top ornithologist, conservationist and television presenter on wildlife issues.
Bill has also struggled with his own health problems over recent years which he claims led to the end of his relationship with the BBC and Springwatch.
