Enjoy Celebrity Radio’s Bacio Italian Cuisine Restaurant Review The Trop Las Vegas….
Bacio Italian Cuisine is a light, fresh and very European at The Tropicana Las Vegas.
The room is beautifully designed and the menu has every single legendary Italian classic you dream of.
To begin, the bread was exceptional & baked in house – best I’ve had so far this trip. A great sign of a quality restaurant.
The Trop is home to two great shows – magician Jan Rouvens and Raiding The Rock Vault. Two wonderful shows. This restaurant is the perfect pre-show dining experience.
To begin there are some fabulous appetisers.
For me, the best ingredients don’t need messing with. The Mozzarella di Bufala is a perfect example of this – such deliciousness on a plate!
Next came the meatballs. The tomato sauce was packed with flavour and the meat was tender and rich.
The scallops are a personal favourite and again I praise chef for keeping it simple and authentic. NEVER cover this delicacy in sauce etc. Very very nice.
Portion size is ‘Italian’ and presentation is lovely.
The Calamari was perfectly tender and the sauces were excellent.
Beautifully crisp and a HUGE portion big enough for 4 to share.
Next to the fish course….
The risotto di scampi was outstanding. Perfectly cooked risotto. Sadly the shrimp was not quite as exceptional as the risotto. Maybe frozen?
The Lingunine Frutti di Mare was a fish lovers delight! The pasta was perfectly cooked and the fish was packed with flavour.
Again, I’m not sure if all the fish was fresh but nevertheless a lovely dish.
Ok – let me be honest. The fish is great but this is a meat lovers restaurant.
The chicken parmigiana was sensational. Just beautifully cooked. BUT, this wasn’t the best.
The highlight of my meal was the veal Milanese – the best I’ve ever tasted. So tender – just perfect!
Finally, don’t miss the eggplant. My guest said “awesome, the best I’ve ever had” – quite an accolade.
EXCELLENT entrees all round Bravo chef.
This is a beautiful Italian restaurant!
The atmosphere is lovely but most importantly the traditional Italian Fayre is exceptional.
